Acu-Nu Kinesiology for the LMT
- 14 credit hours
Acu-Nu Kinesiology, or ANK, is a complete system of health care that teaches you, through muscle response testing, how to isolate dysfunction and target its source. It then offers you 5 methods of balancing that dysfunction. This methodology encompasses the cranial/sacral rhythms of the body, Chapman reflexes, acupressure holding points, meridian therapy, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular re-education, origin/insertion techniques, and proprioreceptive neuromuscular facilitation.
Acu-Nu Kinesiology for the LMT II
- 14 credit hours
Acu-Nu Kinesiology II expands a modality that incorporates Eastern philosophy and treatment with Western nomenclature and evaluation techniques. Participants will learn to muscle test a total of 40 superficial muscles and the acupuncture meridians they represent. Problems of trauma, repetitive motion injuries and atrophy of disuse will be explored through this modality and new treatment protocols will be demonstrated, as well as marketing and insurance billing procedures.
Relieving the Pain of Whiplash
- 14 credit hours
The anatomy, physiology and etiology of whiplash will be discussed so participants will be able to target the client's problem and the cause with pinpoint accuracy, to facilitate treatment. The participants will learn how to develop a six session treatment plan implementing Swedish massage, acupressure, Acu-Nu Kinesiology, hydrotherapy, range of motion techniques and passive and active exercises.
Relieving the Pain of Sciatica
- 14 credit hours
This course includes regional anatomy and physiology of the sciatic nerve and its muscular innervations, the etiology of the disorder, and how to evaluate clients to determine the meridians affected by the disorder with Acu-Nu Kinesiology. The participants will learn how to develop a six session treatment plan implementing Swedish massage, acupressure, Acu-Nu Kinesiology, hydrotherapy, range of motion techniques and passive and active exercises.
Relieving the Pain of Headaches Module 1: Headaches Affecting the Yang Channels
- 15 credit hours
Special care is taken in this course to familiarize the participant with the signs and symptoms of headaches we shouldn't treat, as well as the ones that respond to our therapy. Clinical aspects of tension headaches are explored, the goal being accurate assessment and swift resolution to this common complaint. Participants will be taught Acu-Nu Kinesiology, acupressure, and the languaging of Asian Energetic Medicine as it applies to headaches affecting the Yang channels.
Shiatsu Therapy - Namikoshi Technique
-12 credit hours
This course teaches a non-meridian approach to Shiatsu therapy. Acupressure points are taught according to American anatomical landmarks. Hand techniques, pressure applications, and correct postural positioning are discussed. Participants will be taught a full body routine, a seated routine for arm, neck, shoulder and back, stress management techniques, and pain control protocols.

He is also on the faculty of Florida Metropolitan Uniiversity in Tampa and the
International Sports College in Boulder, Colorado. Nick holds two professional licenses in the state of Florida, that of Massage Therapist, and Acupuncture Physician. Prior to moving to Florida, Nick took training as an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist at Lincoln Hospital under the tutelage of Dr. Michael O. Smith. He is no stranger to the health perils that plague our society. The focus of his instruction is "wellness and common sense" with a little commercial viability thrown in to help you build your practice.
